Ekaa is a driving force in her family circle and her extended community in advocating for animal rights, humanitarian causes, climate change and sustainability. She turned vegan by choice at the age of 8, and is currently a high-school senior in Sonoma County, California. Ekaa's other passions include songwriting, world languages and voluntary work. 

Ekaa has also contributed to her mother's early literacy business - I See, I Spell, I Learn, LLC & iRead iSpell by helping create products for children with learning differences such as dyslexia and doing voice recordings for interactive kindle books & iOS Apps.

Anurag is an entrepreneur, a seasoned customer experience executive and a global business leader with over 25 years experience in Sales & Management of Outsourcing Business Services, Marketing, Strategy, Finance, Operations with firms like Arthur Andersen, Reuters, IBM, TeleTech & Mphasis (https://www.linkedin.com/in/sood-anurag/). He has spent the past five years focused on startups, strategy and investments in new ventures.

Anurag is also a Social Entrepreneur - co-founder of an early education & literacy venture - I See, I Spell, I Learn, LLC - which is focused on creating learning tools and products for emerging readers and children with dyslexia and other learning differences.
Anurag is extremely passionate about creating, executing & promoting impactful and sustainability-focused ventures.
 

Veganios - The Company:

Veganios LogoWe are a start-up based in Sonoma County, California. During the Covid pandemic, as our shopping shifted completely online, Ekaa came up with the idea to create a sustainability and climate-focused online store for only vegan and plant-based products. Over the thanksgiving break in 2021, she and her dad, Anurag, got to work and developed this online marketplace. 

Their vision is to create a marketplace which promotes and sells a range of climate-friendly, plant-based, organic, non-GMO products. In addition, every dollar spent by consumers promotes and contributes towards the sustainability and climate friendly policies of our world.
